Cherry Hill Coffee regulars will instantly recognize Larissa’s bright smile and spunky personality. The ‘Just Married’ Kaleden transplant has been making her job look easy for 3 years. She is a customer service hero – it’s true I saw her cape once. Ok well she was actually just helping someone on the phone…but day in and day out, Larissa can be counted on to get things done and make everyone’s day just a little bit brighter. A true Okanagan girl at heart, Larissa’s favourite things include horses, summer and the beach. And board games. Yup, when she plays, she plays for keeps.

MARSHMALLOW SNOWMAN MOCHA
Nothing warms the soul, and heats up your holiday spirit, like sweet toasted marshmallow and rich white chocolate. With a touch of espresso, you’ll have all the energy you need to finish your Christmas shopping (That’s right – there’s only 55 days left!).
While we don’t recommend putting this under the tree, we guarantee the Marshmallow Snowman Mocha will be at the top of your wish list.
* No Snowmen were hurt in the making of this drink.
(Come by the roastery with your best snowman joke and your mocha’s on the house – how’s that for holiday spirit?)
It’s back!

JACK’O – THE REVENGE OF PUMPKIN SPICE
As the legend goes…Every Hallowe’en, a mysterious and haunting aroma takes hold of the roastery. You can smell it in the dark, cool evening air. Especially on full moon nights. Some say it is the spirit of Pumpkin Spice, others claim it’s name is Jack’o. Whatever it is and whatever you call it – it’s impossible to resist. The bewitching aroma of smooth, medium-bodied Colombian coffee and fresh-baked pumpkin pie will torment your senses until you give in. Get a pound of this fall classic for $13.50, while you can…mmuuwahhahahaha!!
We’re turning a deeper shade of green.

THINK ABOUT IT
When you have your morning coffee and toss your paper cup in the trash, it’s joining 14.4 billion other disposable sippers. That number is expected to grow to 23 billion by 2010. Cherry Hill Coffee wants to help change those habits.
Last fall, Cherry Hill Coffee went “green”, offering a certified fair trade organic coffee line-up. In addition, we also introduced a 100% compostable cup. The ecotainer™ is an eco-friendly to-go coffee cup made with renewable materials and a revolutionary corn-based liner. Conventional hot paper cups use a waterproof lining made from a petroleum-based plastic that is not sustainable. The petrochemicals used to manufacture these cups could heat 8,300 homes for one full year.
Made with a bio-plastic fashioned out of corn, the ecotainer™ cup can, under the proper conditions, break down into water, carbon dioxide and organic matter. This will divert countless coffee cups away from landfills that could instead be composted and returned to the earth to make quality topsoil.
BUT WHAT GOOD IS HAVING A COMPOSTABLE CUP WITH NOWHERE TO COMPOST IT? Without local municipal or corporate support, the positive advantages of this pioneering technology are lost. So, Cherry Hill Coffee recently partnered with a local compost and recycling organization to establish a grassroots waste management program.
Coffee grounds and roasting by-products such as chaff, along with our compostable ecotainer™ cups and a wide variety of organic material are picked up weekly and will be converted into nutritious topsoil for local farms. Help us out – and the planet too – by composting your cup. We will be publishing a list of other participating cafés and restaurants soon. Stay tuned.
DON”T JUST TOSS IT, COMPOST IT!
Show your support (literally).
